Addiction affects over 25% of families in the United States, spreading rapidly due to high recurrence rates that top 35%.
At Cornerstone CARES, we offer support for families of individuals affected by substance use. Through education, storytelling, and weekly gatherings in Austin, we help caregivers and loved ones find healing and community
Cornerstone ATX CARES Program Overview
We’ve launched Cornerstone CARES in collaboration with The Texas CARES Program and the Steve Hicks School of Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin. This initiative, supported by a $500,000 grant, starts at Cornerstone Church ATX and aims to expand nationally. Our goal is to foster a supportive community to address a major social challenge effectively with an evidence-based approach and support for families of addicts. We will serve the families of those struggling with addiction to help reduce the spread of this disease.
